Classic Dancers

“Classic Dancers” is CDA’s performing and competing company. Established in 2011 and led by the amazing Heather Marsh-Schieck as company director, our company continues to flourish with top awarded dancers and routines year after year. For serious dance students only! Being a company dancer is an opportunity to further your dance education and gain experience with convention training, competitions and performances. Company requires a full commitment to the team and dedication all year long. Company season runs early August through end of May, dancers are accepted by audition only. Auditions generally held the 2nd week of June. Dancers are required to train at Classic Dance Academy for the full 10 months of the season. Mandatory parent informational meeting required, meeting in mid-May prior to the coming season.

CDA also offers serious ballet students the opportunity to compete with our "Classic Dancers Ballet Company" led by Ballet directors Michelle Dolighan-Rodenbeck and Staci Kinkead-Fox. We train and prepare for ballet competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix, ADC/IBC International Youth Ballet Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, World Ballet Competition and more. These dancers can also participate in our Classic Dancers company.

**Any CDA students wanting to participate in the Denver Ballet Guild Young Dancers Scholarship Competition DO NOT need to be part of our companies but must be approved through the ballet department, please contact Director Michelle Dolighan-Rodenbeck for more info.
